Dr. Elisa Vargas is a Department Chair of Human Resources Management at the University of Michigan and has a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management from Harvard University and a Ph.D in Human Resources Management from the University of Pennsylvania. She has over 20 years of experience in human resources management, including seven years as a department chair. Her research focuses on developing and evaluating human resources management practices, and she has published dozens of journal articles and book chapters. Dr. Vargas is a member of the Academy of Human Resources Management and the American Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
