About

Ren Huffman is an educator with a passion for sustainability and science education. After completing a BS in Physics, Ren began their career as a physics and computer science teacher and has taught math and science at various schools with highly diverse populations culminating in a director role at De La Salle North Catholic High School. Ren's dedication to education and sustainability led them to pursue a MS in Sustainable Food Systems and a Ph.D. in Sustainability Education from Prescott College. Currently, Ren started their own business and is working on a contract basis consulting and providing guidance on nature based remediation of contaminated and degraded soil. Ren's extensive background in both education and sustainability make them a valuable asset to any institution.
