Dr. Jacob Mortensen is an experienced data scientist and educator with an impressive academic background. He obtained his M.S. in Data Science from Carnegie Mellon University in 2015 and his Ph.D in Data Science from University of Washington in 2018. After receiving his doctorate degree, Jacob joined the faculty at the University of Washington as an Associate Professor of Data Science. He is highly skilled in data visualization, predictive analytics and machine learning. With his great knowledge and experience, Jacob builds real-world data driven solutions for his students and the university.
