Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited ExxonMobil
Senior Operations Geologist / July, 2013 — August, 2017
Instrumental in achievement of exploration & development well objectives for actualisation of field development plans across ten operated shallow and Deepwater fields. Collaborated with other technical professionals in multi-disciplinary projects, ensured compliance with company policies, including HSE, generated integrated pore pressure prediction (IP3), Geomechanical analysis for drillwell planning and monitoring, 2D pressure mapping, velocity and offset well data analysis for well design. Developed offset well and velocity-based pre-drill pore pressure and fracture gradient prediction profiles, planned deep water wells to enhance opportunity generation and safety to strengthen business-critical operations. Supervised 80+ successful wells in both shallow and deep offshore drilling environments to increase company’s total liquid production.
Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited ExxonMobil
Asset Level Team Lead, Yoho Field / August, 2010 — July, 2011
Effectively optimized mature asset value through detailed data analysis and integration that helped to accelerate the production of three additional stacked oil and gas reservoirs. Strategically planned and packaged infill drill well opportunities and redrilled potentials to enhance field-wide production. Work resulted in an incremental 18kbd cumulative production from the field. • Collated, quality controlled and analyzed available geophysical data, integrating available wells, geological and engineering data to provide reliable assessment and representation of the subsurface structures and reservoirs within the field • Co-ordinated technical evaluations; managed outsourced projects as required and provided quality assurance on geosciences issues.
ExxonMobil Production Company (EMPC), Houston, Texas.
Project Geologist / July, 2009 — August, 2010
Generated high quality drillable opportunities in siliciclastic & carbonate reservoirs to increase oil production from Coyanosa and Pyote fields in South Texas. Evaluation involved 3-D seismic data interpretation and application of sequence stratigraphic principles to solving production problems in a carbonate reservoir. Conducted rock physics modelling, reservoir quality delineation, structural & stratigraphic interpretations to assess trap resize, hydrocarbon column height distributions and in-place resources. Designed a PETREL model to capture reservoir property heterogeneity for well placement & delivered insights that resolved production challenges with underperforming wells. Additional infill opportunities were identified for drilling. Detailed subsurface evaluation conducted included: • Generation of geologic deliverables from models viz; structural and reservoir correlation, Top sands Maps, 3D Static Reservoir Modelling,
ExxonMobil Exploration Company (EMEC), Houston, Texas.
Prospect Geologist / August, 2008 — July, 2009
Developed ideas, created plans, and organized project as a specialized study to explore and improve prospect generation with adequate reservoir characterization to realize corporate objectives. Carried out Seismic interpretation, geophysical analyses and modelling to inform quantitative reservoir model conditioning. Integrated well rock physics property and generated seismic attributes from pre-stack inversion to generate seismically-driven reservoir property distribution maps, with detailed structural and stratigraphic interpretation to generate opportunities in the South China sea. Leveraged interdisciplinary data to build a regional integrated earth model to improve hydrocarbon resource assessment with optimize structural & stratigraphic interpretations. Re-constructed faulted reservoir architecture and defined trap-size for opportunity generation, well planning and optimization for asset evaluation, assessment, and exploitation.

Geophysics Graduate Assistant Lecturer / March, 2003 — November, 2004
I taught Physical Geology laboratory to undergraduate students. I taught them how to interpret stratigraphy record, geologic structures and reconstruct the depositional environment. I taught them how to apply geologic principles to interpret rock record as well as taught them the economic significance of rocks and minerals as sources of raw materials for industries. Here, I taught geophysics laboratory to undergraduate and graduate students. I taught them how to interpret seismic data, generate and plot maps, cross-sections, interpret rock deformation episodes through the identification of faults and folds, and interpretation of rock strikes and dip values.
