About

Dr Lee Taylor is a highly qualified and experienced exercise and environmental physiologist. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Sport and Exercise Science from Nottingham Trent University in 2006 and went on to obtain his PhD in Exercise and Environmental Physiology from University of Hull in 2010. During his PhD, Dr Taylor conducted extensive research on the effects of environmental conditions on exercise performance and heat stress in athletes. He has also published several articles in peer-reviewed journals (n = \~130; h-index 40) and presented his findings at international conferences (>100 conference abstracts). After completing his PhD, Dr Taylor continued his academic journey by completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Research Training from University of Hull in 2010 and a Post Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PgCAP) from University of Bedfordshire in 2015. These qualifications have equipped him with advanced research and teaching skills, enabling him to become a successful academic. Dr Taylor's passion for teaching and research has led him to become a lecturer at various universities, where he has taught courses in exercise physiology, environmental physiology, and sports science. He has also supervised numerous undergraduate and postgraduate research projects. Apart from his academic pursuits, Dr Taylor is also an active member of professional organizations, such as the American College of Sports Medicine and the European College of Sport Science. He regularly attends conferences and workshops to stay updated on the latest developments in his field and to share his knowledge and expertise with others. Overall, Dr Lee Taylor is a dedicated and accomplished exercise and environmental physiologist who is committed to advancing the field through his research, teaching, and involvement in professional organizations.
