About

Francisco Santibanez is a highly educated and experienced physicist with a Ph.D. from Universidad de Santiago de Chile. He obtained his degree in 2010. After completing his Ph.D., Dr. Santibanez joined Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Valparaiso as an Associate Professor. During his time there, he has taught various courses in physics and supervised numerous graduate students. His dedication to teaching and mentorship has been recognized by his students and colleagues alike. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Santibanez has also been actively involved in research. He spent several years as a Research Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he conducted groundbreaking research in the field of Medical Ultrasound Imaging. His work has been published in top scientific journals and has been presented at international conferences. Dr. Santibanez's research interests lie in the areas of nonlinear physics, experimental mechanics, wave propagation, and materials science.
