About

Paulina is a Biomedical Data Science graduate student at Stanford. She has a B.A. in Cognitive Science from the University of Pennsylvania, where she developed computational methods to understand complex contagions. Paulina has extensive experience in drug discovery, being an early-stage employee at Loyal and Octant Bio as well as a data scientist at Genentech/Roche. After graduating, she grew brain and lung organoids to SARS-CoV-2 infection at Rockefeller University. Most recently, she developed methods to interpret single-cell epigenetic data at the Corces Lab at the Gladstone Institutes/UCSF. Paulina is passionate about designing statistical frameworks to deconvolve high-dimensional biomedical datasets from different modalities.
