Dr. Idorenyin IWE is a highly educated professional with a strong background in engineering and materials science. He obtained his B.Eng degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Owerri in 2014, followed by his MSc in Science and Materials of Solar Energy from the National University of Science and Technology, MISiS, Moscow, Russia. Dr. IWE further pursued his academic career by obtaining a Ph.D from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His research focuses on the development of novel materials for solar energy applications and nucleic acid/protein engineering for biosensing/gene editing applications. He has published several research papers in reputable scientific journals and has presented his work at various international conferences. In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. IWE has gained valuable practical experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Toronto, where he is researching PAM-free CRISPR-Cas systems for diagnostics and gene editing. He has also worked as a research assistant and teaching assistant during his graduate studies. Dr. IWE is a dedicated and passionate researcher with a strong interest in sustainable energy solutions, diagnostics, and gene editing.
