About

Paradi Mirmirani is a distinguished dermatologist with a robust academic and clinical background. She earned her BS in Biochemistry with Honors Magna Cum Laude from the University of California, Los Angeles, followed by her MD from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine. Dr. Mirmirani completed her Internal Medicine residency and subsequent residencies in Dermatology at UCSF. Her fellowship training includes HIV Dermatology Research and Clinical Hair Research, also at UCSF. She further honed her expertise in outcomes research and clinical epidemiology through coursework at UCSF. Dr. Mirmirani has held significant leadership positions, including Senior Dermatologist and Assistant Chief of Dermatology at The Permanente Medical Group, Kaiser Permanente Northern California, where she also served as Interim Medical Director of the KPNC Clinical Trials Program and Regional Lead for Dermatology Research, Education, and Academics (DREAM). Her academic affiliations include roles as a Volunteer Associate Clinical Professor and Volunteer Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at UCSF, and Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve University. Earlier in her career, she was a Staff Physician and Acting Chief of the Dermatology Service at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. Dr. Mirmirani also developed and led the Regional Clinical Research Education Program at Kaiser Permanente Northern California Academy of Clinical Trialists (ACT) and served as a Clinical Attending for the Hair Disorders Clinic at UCSF.
