I am a microbial ecologist with expertise in biochemistry, microbiology and molecular biology. I have acquired the relevant skill sets in the subject area by working in research labs in The United States of America, Nigeria, Cameroon and China. I have co-authored eight research articles covering diverse research areas including bacterial functional genomics and metabolic regulations, bacterial genome editing, phytochemistry, nutritional biochemistry and the design of promiscuous multi-epitope vaccines against infectious diseases. Currently, I am studying the role of micro-predators in the regulation of biogeochemical cycles, marine pathogens and microbial loop in estuarine and marine ecosystems.  In addition, I have mentored students through classroom teaching, laboratory-based practical demonstrations and field surveys. I am competent in delivering conference presentations with confidence and with a passion for the work that I undertake. I am confident I would make a valuable contribution to your organization.
