About

Darrin L. Rogers is an experienced professor and researcher in psychology and other fields, with a focus on statistics-psychometrics, methodology, and survey research. He received his Master's and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a minor in Statistics-Psychometrics from The Ohio State University in 2000 and 2005, respectively. Dr. Rogers is currently an Associate Professor at SUNY Fredonia in New York state, and previously worked for nine years at the University of Texas-Pan American. His research interests include the development and validation of psychological and educational measurement tools, statistical methods for analyzing and interpreting data, unique survey research methods, and the study of antisocial behavior. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented his work at conferences in multiple countries. Dr. Rogers is dedicated to mentoring and teaching the next generation of behavioral researchers, having supervised many graduate students and managed multiple research teams. He has taught a variety of courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level, especially research methods and statistics. In addition to his academic work, Dr. Rogers also serves as a consultant for other researchers and has offers consulting expertise in measurement, statistical analysis, and program evaluation, with a history of working on federally-funded projects. He is committed to using his knowledge and skills to improve the lives of people around the world, especially those who have limited resources or experience marginalization.
