I, Shalini Sikdar is a highly educated and experienced professional in the field of Materials Engineering. I have completed her Bachelor's degree in Ceramic Technology in 2007 and went on to obtain a Master's degree in Material Science in 2012. In 2024, I will obtain Phd in Materials Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Madras. I have a diverse range of work experience in both research and industry. I have worked as a research engineer as well as research associate at Hindware, Central Glass & Ceramic Research Institute in India. I have a strong passion for materials engineering and is constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities to expand my knowledge and expertise in the field.

Work Highlights: Testing of various ceramics raw material required to produce ceramic sanitaryware products as well as coatings for appropriate chemical composition, defects and quality. ● Did periodic checking of all green and fired sanitary ware products and documentation of all records (ISO). ● Developed new body & coatings with improved properties in terms of finalizing the compositions. ● Have experience with dye penetration test and hands-on experience on thermal analyzer, porosity, particle size analyzer, BET surface area measurements, viscosity Analyzer, PH meter, water testing etc. ● Undertook different projects of Plaster of Paris to improve the quality of molding, which led to significant reduction of faults of coatings and body and increasing efficiency. ● Worked extensively in SAP system as well as handling ISO audits.
