Dr. Livia Masson is an Assistant Professor of Human-Computer Interaction at Stanford University. She completed her Master of Arts in Human-Computer Interaction from Stanford in 2014, and her Ph.D in Human-Computer Interaction from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2018. Dr. Masson’s research focuses on understanding and designing for diverse user experiences, utilizing and linking artificial intelligence, robotics, and embodied technologies to the user interface. In addition, she is a co-founder of uFABRIC Labs, a company specializing in virtual simulations of urban issues, such as disasters and pollution. She also serves on the editorial boards of the International Journal on Human-Computer Interaction and the ACM Transactions on Computer-Human Interaction.
