For optimal clarification, I rely on my academic knowledge of the American government’s policy-making process, proper public service approaches, as well as the history of environmental policies and regulations. I articulate my ideas through both written and verbal communication by employing analytical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific reasoning. To exercise professional judgment when explaining the science behind sustainability, I draw from biology and ecology. I utilize geographical knowledge to communicate the environmental impacts of commerce. Being computer literate, I utilize GIS presentation systems to improve visibility and enhance communication for the target audience. This is demonstrated in the environmental and financial impact analysis I conducted for the Climate Institute’s publication. During my time at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, I was responsible for gathering, documenting, analyzing, evaluating, and reporting sampled data to provide sufficient evidence in support of permitting and inspection compliance cases.
