• Initiated and strengthened the R&D mission to identify and integrate biomarkers, in the areas of sepsis and polygenic risk score, into Dascena’s patient point-of-care artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) algorithms in order to supplement and boost AI/ML performance and increase positive predictive values • Managed development of Covid (Sars-CoV-2) whole genome sequencing for surveillance and variant analysis/detection utilizing Illumina sequencing-by-synthesis technology • Led the writing and structuring of SOPs and validation plans and reports; advised on GLP/GCP with QA Manager during validations and transfer of research lab-developed assays into the clinical (COLA/CLIA) pipeline • Directed and re-aligned the R&D team’s mission in the midst of an evolving business landscape.
