Dr. Vickie Young is a Department Chair of Data Science at Stanford University and a research professor at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. She has a M.A. in Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley and a Ph.D. in Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley. She has published extensively in the field of data science, with work appearing in leading journals such as the Journal of the American Statistical Association and the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society. Dr. Young has also conducted research in artificial intelligence and machine learning, with papers appearing in the prestigious journals, Nature and Neural Computation.
