Professor Tendai Mangena is an accomplished scholar and researcher in the field of Literary Studies. He completed his PHD in African literature from Universiteit Leiden Centre for the Arts in Society in 2015. She has extensive experience in academia, having held positions such as British Academy Global Professor at University of Leeds and Research Fellow at University of the Free State Faculty of Humanities. She also served as an Associate Professor of African and Literary Studies at Great Zimbabwe University Faculty of Arts and as a Senior Lecturer at the same institution. Professor Mangena has also been a recipient of the prestigious Alexander von Humboldt Postdoctoral Fellowship at Universität Bremen. Her research interests include African literature, postcolonial studies, and critical theory. She is a highly respected and influential figure in the academic community, and his work has been widely published and cited.
