About

Andreas Holzinger is a highly accomplished computer scientist and researcher, with a strong focus on the intersection of artificial intelligence and human-centered computing. He holds two PhDs, one in Cognitive Science and one in Computer Science, both from prestigious universities in Austria. He has held various academic positions at universities in Austria and around the world, including in Canada, Italy, and the United Kingdom. Holzinger's research interests lie in the development of cutting-edge technologies for improving human-computer interaction and decision-making processes. He has published over 300 scientific papers and has received numerous awards and honors for his work, including the ACM Recognition of Service Award and the Austrian Computer Science Award. He is also a highly sought-after speaker and has given presentations at many international conferences and events. In addition to his academic work, Holzinger is actively involved in industry collaborations, serving as the leader of the CBmed K1 Center of Excellence for Biomarker Discovery and the IBM Watson Machine Learning Group at the Medical University of Graz. He is also a visiting professor at several universities, including the University College London and RWTH Aachen. Overall, Holzinger's diverse education and extensive experience make him a leading expert in the field of artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction, and his contributions have greatly advanced our understanding and application of these technologies.
