Dr. Tiffany Hanson is an Assistant Professor of Robotics at Georgia Institute of Technology. She received her Master of Arts in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon in 2014 and her Ph.D in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon in 2020. Dr. Hanson has been active in the field of robotics for over a decade, and her research focuses on understanding the fundamental mechanisms underlying human-robot interaction and co-operative mobility. Her work has been published in leading scientific journals, and she has been recognized with several awards, including the prestigious IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems’ Best Paper Award. Dr. Hanson is also the author of the book “Introduction to Robotics: Theory and Practice”, which has been published in multiple languages and is used as a textbook in universities around the world.
