About

Nicola Sewry completed her undergraduate studies in Biochemistry, Human Kinetics and Ergonomics at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. She then went on to complete her BSc Honours in Biokinetics at the same institution. In 2014, she obtained her MSc in Exercise Science and in 2018, she completed her Ph.D in Exercise Science, both from the University of Pretoria. During her time as a student, Nicola began working as a lecturer at the University of Pretoria. After completing three years at the University, she was promoted to the position of Associate Professor at the same institution. As an Associate Professor, she continues to teach and mentor students, as well as conduct research in the field of exercise science. Nicola's research interests include exercise physiology, sports medicine, and performance enhancement. She has published numerous papers in reputable journals and has presented her research at national and international conferences. In addition to her academic work, Nicola is also an active member of various professional organizations. Nicola is passionate about using her knowledge and expertise to promote healthy lifestyles and improve athletic performance. She is dedicated to furthering research in the field of sport science and exercise medicine.
