Sun Eui (Sunny) Choi is a PhD candidate in the Department of Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto. Her work focuses on addressing brain changes and cognitive late effects seen in pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) survivors. To do this, Sunny employs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to measure brain volume changes in a mouse model after chemotherapy treatment. Sunny is a recipient of several awards including the Canadian Institutes of Health Research Canada Graduate Scholarships Doctoral Award (CIHR CGS-D), Queen Elizabeth II/Sunnybrook and Women’s College Health Sciences Centre Graduate Scholarship in Science and Technology (QEII-GSST), and the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Academic Achievement Award. <br> <br>
