Scientist - AAV Engineering / November, 2022January, 2024

Developed and implemented high throughput screening methods to engineering AAV delivery across the blood-brain barrier.

University of California, San Diego

Doctoral Candidate / April, 2017May, 2022

Prashant Mali Lab -- Developed and implemented a novel protein engineering strategy based on high-throughput screening and nanopore sequencing to systematically de-immunize Cas9 multiple epitopes at a time. -- Characterized immune barriers to AAV-delivered CRISPR-Cas gene therapies in mouse models, and demonstrated proof-of-concept immune orthogonal re-dosing method which improved gene editing via avoidance of induced AAV and Cas9 immunity.

Doctoral Researcher

Justin Meyer Lab -- Created mathematical models to understand the evolution of receptor switching in λ phage.
