Atze Jan van der Goot holds a PhD and MSc in Chemical Technology from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, obtained in 1996 and 1991, respectively. He currently serves as a Professor of Protein Structuring and Sustainability at Wageningen University & Research, following his tenure as an Associate Professor at the same institution. Prior to his academic career, he worked as a Research Scientist at Unilever. He also holds a position as a Board Member at the NVVL Network For Food Experts.
