Proud to establish Dyson’s disruptive stick-vac, DC35, building category with V6/7/8 to match full-size performance (+60m sold, +200 competitors). Unlocked a step-change in technology by designing 2 tier radial cyclones to be mass-produced (DC46, V6) and creating a design guide for future projects. Forged final-stage collaboration with SW & HW electronics to solve conflicts that risked the launch of our first robot vacuum 360eye.

Garden Tools division. Industrial placement year, gaining experience developing Hedge-cutters, Line-trimmers and battery products. My placement benefited from both the engineering office and manufacturing facility being on the same site, I worked on improvements to production, troubleshooting warranty return issues, performance testing of cordless product concepts and competitor analysis. Responsibilities included documenting design testing and a field test assessment in the Portugal.
