About
Perri Richman is a corporate strategist and
ESG professional blending leadership at
complex global public corporations with
advisory of private placement companies to
further ESG principles, exceptional leadership
and winning innovation. Perri works closely
with public and private companies to assess
brand, leadership and ESG health, and is often
engaged pre-IPO or when considering an
acquisition. She serves as a fractional Chief
Sustainability Officer (CSO) and Chief
Marketing Officer (CMO) for life sciences,
biotechnology, industrial, consumer products
and private equity (PE) portfolio companies.
She fuels company growth and stakeholder
engagement by building ESG into operating
models and supplementing with strategic brand
development or repositioning, and data-driven
and outcome metric strategies to avoid
greenwashing. As a behavioral psychologist
whose field of research and study is
impression management, Perri is adept at
framing investor and customer buying behaviors
and motivations and maximizing ESG, human
capital and marketing investments to create
resilient businesses. Perri is an innovator
and entrepreneur, successfully developing,
marketing and licensing her intellectual
property in human-centered branding
(contribution of people to a company’s brand,
reputation and market value) and ESG (choice
methodologies and maturity pathing for private
companies). With a co-founder, Perri has
launched technology platform, JASPY bringing
intelligence and productivity to private
placement investing and innovation.
Previously, Perri led corporate marketing,
communications and ESG positioning efforts for
industrial technology giants, Ingersoll Rand,
Trane Technologies and American Standard, and
consulted prior with B2B and B2C blue chip
public companies. She led change, financial
and brand communications for 100+ M&A
transactions and integrations, and
commercialized 300+ technology and service
innovations, and award-winning ESG work.
Perri invests, advises and serves on
the Boards of women, minority-owned and social
impact growth companies and participates on
non-profit Boards centered on entrepreneurship
and economic development including Accendus,
Empower the Village and the Center for Urban
Entrepreneurship and Economic Development. She
advises pharmaceutical and biotechnology
companies on their ESG journeys, and also
serves as the fund administrator for the Black
and Latino Investment Fund of New Jersey.
Perri earned a bachelor’s degree in
journalism from New York University and a
master’s degree in industrial / organizational
psychology from the University of Hartford\.
