Dr. Jillian Seiler is a highly educated and experienced behavioral neuroscientist with a passion for understanding the brain and behavior. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Biopsychology from the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor in 2013, where she developed a strong foundation in the biological mechanisms underlying behavior. She went on to earn her Master's and PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2017 and 2021, respectively. During her graduate studies, Dr. Seiler conducted research on the neurobiology of addiction and worked with various animal models to investigate the neural circuitry involved in drug-seeking behavior. She also gained experience in behavioral testing, data analysis, and scientific writing. As a postdoctoral scholar at Northwestern University, Dr. Seiler has become an expert in neurodegenerative diseases, like Parkinson's Disease. In addition to her research, she is also passionate about science communication and enjoys sharing her knowledge with others through writing and public speaking. Dr. Seiler's extensive education and experience in behavioral neuroscience make her a highly qualified and knowledgeable expert in the field.
