About

I hold a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Electromagnetics from the University of Manitoba. My research focused on advancing microwave imaging techniques, particularly in the time-domain, for applications in biomedical imaging . During my doctoral studies, I led projects involving algorithm development, simulation, and experimental evaluation . My main contribution was high-contrast imaging of dispersive materials for the first time. Also, I have industry experience as an R&D Intern at AGCO Corporation*. AGCO is a globally famous company in manufacturing and distribution of agricultural equipment.* In this company, I developed frequency-domain microwave imaging hardware for time-domain microwave imaging usage for different applications like Agricultural monitoring in silos. With proficiency in Matlab, Python, and C++, plus a strong expertise in electromagnetics and numerical algorithm design, digital signal processing and optimization, I'm really passionate about challenging myself with engineering problems.

Developed Frequency-Domain (FD) microwave imaging hardware for Time-Domain (TD) applications. - Conducted calibration and experimentally evaluated TD imaging algorithms against FD counterparts. - Researched and implemented novel hybrid TD-FD microwave imaging modalities for different applications (e.g. grain bins monitoring, early detection of breast cancer).

Designed and applied advanced algorithms for time-domain (TD) microwave and ultrasound imaging, pioneering high-contrast imaging of dispersive materials in TD for the first time - Led projects involving diffraction tomography, Distorted Born Iterative Method (DBIM), Contrast Source Inversion (CSI), Moment Method (MOM), Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD), Finite Element Method (FEM), and more. - Developed and simulated algorithms using Matlab and Python for electromagnetics and quantitative imaging methods. - Conducted parameter modeling of various natural landscapes (e.g., ice, snow, ocean saline water) for remote sensing applications. - Contributed to remote sensing initiatives such as oil detection beneath layers of ice in polar regions.
