Marianna White is a highly motivated and dedicated individual with a passion for public health. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from the University of Colorado Denver in 2022 and recently completed a Masters in Public Health from the Colorado School of Public Health. During her time at the University of Colorado Denver, she was actively involved in various campus organizations related to public health and community service. Marianna has also gained valuable experience through internships, including as a General Intern at Predistribution Initiative and as a Technical Writing Intern at Cator, Ruma & Associates. She also completed a Capstone Project at the Colorado School of Public Health and served as a Grant Intern at 350Colorado. These experiences have allowed her to develop strong skills in research, writing, and project management, as well as a deep understanding of public health issues and strategies for addressing them. In addition to her academic and professional pursuits, Marianna is a dedicated volunteer and has participated in various community service projects focused on promoting health and wellness. She is eager to continue her education and utilize her skills and experiences to make a positive impact in the field of public health.

Assisting the Task Force for Affordable and Sustainable Housing with research and stakeholder materials. Developing the grant database through aligned intersectional RFP opportunities and foundations that align with PDIs multistakeholder governance sustainable finance and workers ownership goals. Conducting research on the intersection between financialization climate change and public health.

Developed research project focused on Sustainable and Ethical Housing Solutions for Climate-Induced Internally Displaced People within Denver Colorado as a final requirement for Masters in Public Health. Conducted desktop literature review developed case study and delivered research presentations at the American Association of Geographers Annual Meeting (March 2025) and University of Colorado Denvers Research Activities Symposium (April 2025).

Synthesized and summarized the recent changes to hospital fire code and CRA's recommendations for efficiently and effectively implementing the new NFPA 4 requirements. Worked closely with mechanical and electrical engineers to create stakeholder relevant content encouraging Denver mid-sized buildings to adapt to Denver's new energy code requirements preemptively. Presented multiple drafts within a timely manner and responded to edits quickly and efficiently to meet multiple external and internal deadlines.

Researched climate adaptation and mitigation grant opportunities and evaluated them for organizational alignment of mission and goals. Collaborated with the Director of Operations to compile and write letters of interest and complete grant applications while maintaining the necessary attention to detail. Utilized strong communication skills by creating social media posts and emails to educate and motivate community members on opportunities to get involved with climate action and donate towards alternative energy campaigns. Knowledgeable in nonprofit procedures reporting requirements and ethical standards. Passionate about centering traditionally disadvantaged communities when evaluating policies.
