Natalie Anselmi, Ph.D. is a highly dedicated and accomplished researcher in the field of Oral Biology. She received her Ph.D. from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York in 2024, where she specialized in the study of oral diseases and their underlying biological mechanisms. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from SUNY Binghamton, which she obtained in 2018. As a Post Doctoral Researcher at the University at Buffalo, she has worked on numerous projects related to oral health and disease, utilizing advanced techniques and methodologies to better understand the complex mechanisms involved. During her graduate studies at the University at Buffalo, Dr. Anselmi served as a Graduate Research Assistant, where she contributed to multiple publications and presentations in prestigious journals and conferences. Aside from her research endeavors, Dr. Anselmi is also a dedicated mentor, sharing her knowledge and expertise with students and colleagues. She is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the scientific community and actively participates in outreach programs to inspire the next generation of researchers and has a passion for science communications.

As a clinical psychologist and research scientist, I strive to tackle complex clinical and real-world problems with an innovative, scientifically driven approach. I have experience leading and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in clinical and research contexts to predict, identify, mitigate, and prevent the effects of severe personality pathology and related behavioral problems in the criminal justice system, community, and workplace. My program of research utilizes qualitative and quantitative methods to examine the intersection between psychopathy, charisma, and various behavioral outcomes, such as occupational success, criminality, and covert recidivism. I am always seeking new opportunities to apply my expertise in research and clinical science to effect change and improve upon current approaches to challenging real-world problems.
