Ryan Alexander is a highly educated and experienced sport physiologist and performance specialist. He earned his PhD in Sport Physiology and Sport Performance from East Tennessee State University in 2014. With over a decade of experience in the field, Ryan has worked with top athletes and teams from around the world. He has served as a Women’s Youth National Team coach at the United States Soccer Federation, where he developed training and conditioning programs for elite young players. Ryan then went on to work as a Men’s National Team Sports Scientist for the United States Soccer Federation, where he utilized his expertise in sports science to enhance the performance of the team. In 2017, Ryan joined Atlanta United Football Club as their Director of Sports Science. In this role, he oversees all aspects of sports science for the club, including injury prevention, training load management, and recovery strategies. Throughout his career, Ryan has been dedicated to using cutting-edge research and technology to optimize the performance of athletes. He is passionate about helping athletes reach their full potential and is constantly seeking new ways to improve their physical abilities.
