Ganapati Bhat is a highly accomplished
computer engineer with a diverse
educational and professional
background. He received his Ph.D. in
Computer Engineering from Arizona
State University in 2020, where he
specialized in computer architecture
and parallel processing. Prior to his
doctoral studies, Bhat completed his
B.Tech in Electronics Engineering from
the prestigious Indian School of Mines
in 2012. Dr. Bhat's academic career
has been marked by numerous
achievements and accolades. His PhD
dissertation received the ACM SIGDA
Outstanding Dissertation Award in
2022. He has also won multiple best
paper awards in prestigious
conferences, such as ACM Embedded
Systems Week and ACM Transactions on
Design Automation of Electronic
Systems. Dr. Bhat's research has also
received the National Science
Foundation (NSF) CAREER award. These
accomplishments make him one of the
foremost experts in his field.
Ganapati's current research interest
lie at the intersection of computing
systems design, optimization, and
applications. Specifically, he focuses
on the design, optimization, and
applications of wearable internet of
things (IoT) and heterogeneous mobile
devices. His group performs
investigates on optimal energy
management, energy harvesting,
energy-efficient architectures,
machine learning algorithms, thermal
and power management algorithms, and
their applications to smart health
technologies. <br>
