Sadia is a doctoral candidate majoring
in Human Resource Development at the
College of Education, University of
Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).
Her doctoral research focuses on
investigating virtual membersβ
experiences with sharing their
work-related knowledge during project
meetings. Her extensive background
spans human resources and education
leadership, enriching her academic
journey with diverse perspectives and
experiences. <br> In the
academic sphere, Sadia co-authored and
presented her research at the πΌπ’ππ§ππππ£
ππͺπ’ππ£ πππ¨π€πͺπ§ππ πΏππ«ππ‘π€π₯π’ππ£π© (πΌπππΏ)
πππ¨πππ§ππ πΎπ€π£πππ§ππ£πππ¨ in 2021, 2022,
and 2023 (consecutively). Those
peer-reviewed manuscripts cover
diverse topics- analysis of the
work-life balance concept, assessment
of SWOT as OD intervention in a
non-profit organization, and labor
history analysis- the impact of the
PATCO strike 1981. Beyond academia,
Sadia has made significant
contributions as a practitioner and
researcher in educational leadership.
Her roles have involved curriculum
development, instructional design for
pre-service teachers in online
education, and conducting training
sessions. Since 2020, Sadia has been
an integral part of the founding team
of IGlobal, an education research
project led by Dr. Allison Witt.
Recently, the team's efforts were
recognized with the 2023 π½ππ¨π© ππ§πππ©πππ
πΌπ¬ππ§π ππ§π€π’ π©ππ πΌπ’ππ§ππππ£ πΌπ¨π¨π€ππππ©ππ€π£ π€π

book chapters on teaching global
citizenship (2023) and Creating
Boundary Spaces Through Virtual Global
Engagement (2024, in press) Her
academic achievements have been
acknowledged by UIUC through various
scholarships and grants, including the
Fabac-Tomilson Scholarship, the BG
Summer Fellowship, and the Conference
Travel Grant.
