About
I am a neuroscientist with + 10 years of research experience in molecular biology, and I am a science educator with + 4 years of classroom and laboratory teaching experience. <br> I possess soft and hard skills in carrying out research projects in laboratory settings. I developed such skills by being involved in various and collaborative research projects such as studies on ion channel biophysics, protein structure/function, cancer biology, and anticancer drugs. These experiences have trained me for meeting scientific challenges and have developed in me a deep appreciation for a collaborative and teamwork science research. I have 4+ years of classroom and laboratory teaching experience at the university-level. Courses ranged from introductory level courses (Introduction to Biology) to more advanced ones (Cell biology). Asides from improving my organization and management skills, my teaching experience has made me comfortable with science communication to various audiences. As a scientist, I believe research and business should go hand in hand. I utilize my own experience and research knowledge to bring a different perspective to explore an array of topics. I am passionate about bridging the gap between research and business, and using my experience and knowledge to explore various topics and challenges. I am looking for a company with a fast-paced culture that is focused on growth and innovation.
