I am a passionate DEI researcher, practitioner, and educator with 11+ years of experience. My areas of expertise center on improving women's experiences in the workplace using an intersectional lens. I successfully weave DEI through strategic talent management, learning & development, training, coaching, and assessment. As an I-O Psychologist with a background in DEI I am exceptionally poised for people analytics roles. <br> I love teaching DEI content and best practices to others, from undergraduate students to CEOs, and working with organizations to infuse DEI into their daily operations to create a positive culture change. I am a nationally recognized DEI educator by the Society for the Psychology of Women (American Psychological Association Division 35) and have developed and presented content for numerous audiences. I am also an expert in behavioral research and people analytics, including utilizing data and research to inform solutions and problem-solving. I am skilled in quantitative and qualitative data analysis, interpretation, and communication. My background in data analytics and research allows for measurement of success for initiatives and provides directions and next steps for success. I received my Ph.D. and M.A. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Akron and my B.S. in Psychology from the University of Mary Washington. Taylor Harvey is a highly educated and experienced professional in the field of education. She has served on the Governor's Early Literacy Foundation Educator Advisory Committee as well as the Hamilton County School's Library Leadership Team. She holds a Master of Science in Information Science with a focus on School Librarianship and the Right to Read from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She also has a Master of Arts in Education in Instructional Leadership from Tennessee Technological University and a Bachelor of Arts in English and American Literature with a minor in African American Studies from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. With her strong academic background, Taylor has worked in various roles in the education sector. She has served as a Reading Interventionist and Librarian at Hamilton County Schools, where she has helped students improve their research, writing, and reading skills and foster a love for books and literature. She has also worked as an English Teacher at Catoosa County Schools, where she has taught students the importance of effective communication and critical thinking, raising her academically at-risk and special education students' writing levels so they could pass their High School Writing Test. In addition to her experience in education, Taylor has also held positions in other fields. She has worked as a Server/Manager at North Chatt Cat, where she has honed her communication and leadership skills while providing excellent customer service.
