I am Beka, a Ph.D. in Community Psychology, with an extensive background in public education K-12, non-profit consulting, and community-based initiatives. My academic journey has provided me with deep insights into gender dynamics and media representation, focusing significantly on female empowerment. This expertise not only enriches my research but also enhances my practical approach to educational and organizational development, ensuring they are informed by comprehensive psychological insights and a commitment to equity and social justice. With diverse roles ranging from Assistant Principal to Instructional Coach, and consulting work with community-based non-profits, I have developed a profound understanding of the complexities within educational settings and community organizations. My experience is complemented by my academic qualifications, including a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Warren Wilson College and advanced degrees and certifications in Administration and Supervision from National Louis University and Seattle University.
