Wenting Zhao is a highly educated and experienced individual in the field of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Bioengineering from Zhejiang University in 2010. She then went on to pursue her passion for research and obtained her PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Rice University in 2017. After completing her PhD, Wenting continued to expand her knowledge and skills as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Columbia University. She has been involved in numerous research projects and has published several papers in reputable scientific journals. Wenting's areas of expertise include biotechnology, drug discovery, synthetic biology, and next-generation sequencing. She is dedicated to finding innovative solutions to complex engineering problems and has a strong passion for making a positive impact through her research. In her free time, Wenting enjoys hiking, traveling, and trying new cuisines. She also enjoys mentoring and volunteering in STEM programs to inspire and empower young students to pursue careers in science and engineering.
