I have a diverse research background (e.g., personality traits, immigration, radicalization, human deception) & experience designing & implementing qualitative & quantitative methods for experimental, survey, and in-depth interview research studies. Marie Mooney, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Bioinformatics at the University of North Florida. She holds a PhD in Cell and Molecular Genetics from the Van Andel Research Institute, a MS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, and a BS in Bioinformatics, from Michigan Technological University. Prior to her current role, she served as a Senior Postdoctoral Associate at Lurie Children's Hospital, A T32 Postdoctoral Scholar In Applied Genomics and Precision Medicine at Duke University, a Research Associate at Michigan State University. Her research focuses on integrative and translational approaches to repurpose therapeutics for use in rare congenital disorders. Her laboratory uses zebrafish as a genetic model organism to generate and test bioinformatics-driven hypotheses.

I pair a deep understanding of the biology and physiology of hair, skin, and nails with an extensive knowledge of myriad chemical components used in the formulation of lotions, creams, sunscreens, lipsticks, lip balms, eyeshadows, foundation, nail polish, and more. I honed my skills through lab work at cosmetics companies, as well as through a carefully crafted academic path that includes Master of Science in pharmaceutical sciences with an emphasis in cosmetic science from the James L. Winkle College (WCOP) of Pharmacy at the University of Cincinnati. I am an inventor on 4 patents and have written numerous technical and educational articles for cosmetic science publications like Cosmetics and Toiletries and Personal Care Magazine.

Richard Metzger is a professor in the Digital Media Lab at the University of Cincinnati, where he teaches courses on media theory, digital media production, and cultural studies. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of the popular blog Dangerous Minds, which covers topics such as music, art, politics, and fringe culture. Before his current roles, Metzger had a long and diverse career in the media industry. He started out as a music video director in the late 1980s. He also worked as a television producer and director, creating and hosting a network TV series in the UK. In the early 1990s, he helped pioneer the internet as a platform for underground and alternative content by creating the website Disinformation, which became one of the most popular and influential counterculture sites of its time. He has also written for various publications, including World Art, 21C and Time Out. In his current role at the University of Cincinnati, Metzger combines his passion for media and technology with his love for teaching. He brings a wealth of real-world experience and a critical perspective to his courses, challenging students to think critically about the media they consume and create.
