I accomplished researcher and educator in the field of hotel management. I hold a Ph.D. in Hotel Management (Social Science) from Kyunghee University, which she obtained in 2018. Prior to this, I completed Master's degree in Hotel Management (Social Science) in 2014. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Administration, with a major in Hotel Management, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, which she earned in 2008. With my strong academic background, I have gained extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of hotel management. I have worked as a researcher at the University of Houston, where I also served as a visiting scholar. Additionally, I have held positions as an adjunct professor at the university, where I have shared my knowledge and passion for the industry with my students. My research interests include consumer behavior, service quality, and statistics in the hospitality industry. I have published articles in reputable academic journals and have presented my research at various conferences. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and experiencing different cultures, which also helps I gain new insights and ideas for my research. Thomas Pulliam is a highly educated and experienced scientist, with a strong background in cancer, cell, and molecular biology. [Vanessa Patrick, PhD.](https://www.vanessapatrick.net/ "https://www.vanessapatrick.net/") is the Associate Dean for Research, Executive Director of Doctoral Programs (PhD and DBA), a Bauer Professor of Marketing and lead faculty of the Executive Women in Leadership Program at the Bauer School of Business at the University of Houston.   She has been recognized with a number of awards for both scholarship and teaching, including the LeRoy and Lucille Melcher Faculty Excellence award from the Bauer College of Business for Research Excellence (2011), Service Excellence (2016) and Teaching Excellence (2018). In 2012, she was named one of the top 50 most productive marketing scholars worldwide by the DocSig of the American Marketing Association. She was appointed as a Fulbright Specialist (2019-24) by the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Dr. Balan has been Associated with the Department of Engineering Technology, Cullen College of Engineering, University of Houston, since September 2017. His research focuses on biomass conversion to fuels, chemicals, edible mushrooms, animal feed, and biomaterials. He also specializes in CO2 sequestration using algae, processing algal biomass into proteins, biofuels, and biochemicals, and adding value to mushroom industry waste. Additionally, he works on annotating fungal genes to identify novel enzymes for industrial applications. Dr. Balan has published over 192 papers, holds 9 patents, and has more than 17,500 citations.
