Tali Reiner Brodetzki is a highly accomplished scientist with a strong background in zoology. She received her Ph.D. in Zoology from Tel Aviv University in 2018, where she focused on the study of animal behavior and evolutionary ecology. During her graduate studies, she published several papers in top scientific journals and received numerous awards for her research. After completing her Ph.D., Tali went on to work as a Postdoctoral Fellow at both the University of Pennsylvania and Rutgers University. During this time, she continued to conduct research on animal behavior and evolution, and also gained valuable experience in teaching and mentoring students. In 2020, Tali joined the faculty at La Salle University as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology. She is currently conducting research on the effects of human activities on animal behavior and adaptation, and is also teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in zoology, bioinformatics, genomics, and evolutionary biology. Tali's research has been widely recognized and she has received numerous grants and awards, including the prestigious European Molecular Biology Organisation's postdoctoral award. She is also a member of several professional organizations, including the Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology and the Animal Behavior Society. In addition to her academic and research accomplishments, Tali is also passionate about science outreach and communication. She regularly presents her research at conferences and seminars, and also participates in science fairs and other community events. Laura Giurge is an organizational scholar and behavioral scientist. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor of Behavioral Science at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She earned a Ph.D. in Management from Erasmus University Rotterdam and two cum laude master’s degrees in economics and business and in human resources management from the University of Groningen. Prior to joining LSE, Dr. Giurge was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Cornell University and at London Business School, as well as a Visiting Scholar at Harvard Business School. Her research seeks to make work better and enable all individuals to thrive and achieve their potential. <br> Giurge’s research has been published in top journals such as Organizational Behavioral and Human Decision Processes, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Nature Human Behavior, and The Leadership Quarterly. She also publishes popular press articles in outlets such as Harvard Business Review, Forbes, and The Wall Street Journal. Dr. Savannah Lokey is a clinician-scientist with a passion for research and helping others. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Arizona State University in 2015, followed by a Master of Arts in Psychology in 2017 and Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology in 2023 from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Lokey has gained valuable experience in the field of clinical psychology and social neuroscience through various positions. She served as an Intramural Research Training Fellow (IRTA) at the National Institute of Mental Health, where she conducted research on how a rare genetic disorder (Moebius Syndrome) affects emotion processing and underlying neurocircuitry. She also worked as a Research Associate at Rush University Medical Center, where she focused on the social neuroscience of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. She uses many techniques in her research, including fMRI, ecological momentary assessment (EMA), survey research, and passive smartphone sensor data. In addition to her research experience, Dr. Lokey has also received clinical training in various settings. She completed a predoctoral internship in the Major Mental Illness track at the University of California Los Angeles, where she provided psychotherapy and assessment services to individuals with severe mental illness (schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, etc.). Dr. Olson is a highly skilled and experienced behavioral neuroscience researcher with expertise in kinesiology, nutrition, meditation, mental health, cognition, and brain function. He received his Ph.D. in Nutritional Sciences from Rutgers University in 2016 where he primarily studied the influence of exercise and meditation on depression, cognition, and brain health. Prior to that, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology & Health Promotion from the University of Wyoming in 2010 where he focused on the effects of exercise on stress reactivity and autonomic function. Throughout his career, he has conducted extensive research utilizing psychophysiological techniques such as electroencephalography (EEG) to assess event-related potentials (ERP) and electrocardiography to measure heart rate variability (HRV) and pre-ejection period (PEP). Additionally, Dr. Olson is trained in mental health screenings, surveys and questionnaires, IQ testing, cognitive testing, exercise testing and prescription, meditation, metabolic/maximal fitness testing, signal processing, accelerometry, ecological momentary assessment, and data analysis. Common study designs he uses include reviews, meta-analysis, cross sectional, acute/chronic experimental, feasibility, and randomized-controlled trials. Dr. Olson is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Kinesiology, Health Promotion, and Recreation with a dual-appointment within the Department of Psychology at the University of North Texas.
