I recently defended and approved my bachelor's thesis in Biological Sciences, carried out at the "Bernardino Rivadavia" Argentine Museum of Natural Sciences, Hydrobiology laboratory. I studied the impact of the invasive mollusk Limnoperna fortunei on the diet of fish larvae in the Lower Paraná River, using traditional fish identification techniques and molecular tools. I am part of the PIP 2021-2023 GI research project (no. 0252) in the Hydrobiology laboratory within the Argentine Museum of Natural Sciences "Bernardino Rivadavia"-CONICET. The line of research consists of evaluating the physiological and ecological plasticity of the invasive freshwater mollusk Corbícola fluminea under conditions of environmental stress. Leana Zoller is a highly educated and experienced ecologist with a passion for studying the natural world. She received her Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolution from the University of Bern in 2014, where she developed a strong foundation in the principles of ecology and the evolutionary processes that shape life on our planet. Her interest in conservation and animal ecology led her to pursue a Master of Science degree in Animal Ecology and Conservation from the same university, which she completed in 2016. Driven by a desire to deepen her understanding of ecological systems, Leana went on to earn her PhD in Ecology from Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg in 2023. During her doctoral studies, she focused on the effects of climate change on plant communities and the implications for biodiversity. Her research has been published in several prestigious scientific journals and has contributed to a better understanding of the impacts of a changing climate on our planet's ecosystems. After completing her PhD, Leana continued her academic career as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Colorado Boulder. She has also been involved in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, sharing her passion for ecology and inspiring the next generation of scientists. Leana's dedication to her field and her extensive education and experience make her a valuable asset to the scientific community. She is committed to using her knowledge and skills to contribute to the conservation and protection of our planet's biodiversity.

Edoardo Airoldi is a Professor in the Department of Machine Learning at Temple University. He is also the Director of the Center for Machine Learning and Health. He is a world-renowned expert in the fields of machine learning and artificial intelligence, with a focus on applications to health. Airoldi is a member of the prestigious Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) and the International Machine Learning Society (IMLS). He has published over 200 papers in leading journals and conferences, and his work has been covered by various media outlets including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, and Wired.

Her research covers a broad range of topics in polymer- and nano-based materials engineering and transport modeling, which has been published in 110+ refereed technical manuscripts and presented at numerous national and international conferences. Dr. Walters’ work has been sponsored by government agencies including NSF, DOE, and DOD, and by industry partners.

Jeffrey Townsend is a Professor of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology at Yale University. He received his Ph.D. from Harvard University in 2002 and his Sc.B. from Brown University in 1994. He has been a teacher at St. Ann's School and an Assistant Professor at the University of Connecticut. He is currently the Elihu Professor of Biostatistics at Yale University.

Jim Samuel is an Associate Professor of Practice and Executive Director of the Informatics Program at the Bloustein School. He is an information and artificial intelligence (AI) scientist, with significant industry experience in finance, technology, entrepreneurship and data analytics. Dr. Samuel’s primary research covers human intelligence and artificial intelligences interaction and information philosophy.  Dr. Samuel’s applied research focuses on the optimal use of big data and smart data driven AI applications, textual analytics, natural language processing and artificially intelligent public opinion informatics. His expertise extends to socioeconomic implications of AI, applied machine learning, social media analytics, AI education and AI bias. Dr. Samuel completed his Ph.D. from the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College – City University of New York, and he also has M.Arch and M.B.A (International Finance) degrees.  Dr. Samuel has worked with large multinational financial services corporations, and advises businesses and organizations on data analytics and AI driven value creation strategies. He is passionate about research driven thought leadership in AI, information philosophy, analytics and informatics. 

Dr. Ryan Howell is an Associate Professor at San Francisco State University. His research interests include the psychology of goals and how people pursue and achieve them. Dr. Howell received his PhD in Social/Personality Psychology from the University of California, Riverside in 2005.

With over 22 years of industry and academic experience in SoftMatter, colloids, and complex fluids, I am a Professor of Practice and Director of the Engineering Corporate Affiliate Program (ECAP) at the University of Miami. My mission is to bridge the gap between engineering education/research and industry needs, and to foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship among students and faculty. I am also co-founder of FastFormulator a Formulation Design Lab developing novel sustainable formulations for a wide range of industries utilizing an integrated approach of High THroughput FOrmulation Automation/Advanced CHaracterization/AI-ML and based on deep colloid science/complex fluids insights. <br> As a leading researcher and consultant in formulation design and performance optimization of consumer, cosmetic, biopharmaceutical, and homecare products, I collaborate with multiple global companies and organizations to develop novel and sustainable solutions based on high throughput formulation, AI/ML, advanced characterization and novel sustainable materials. I also teach courses in polymers, surfactants, emulsions, rheology, tribology, and innovation management, and chair international conferences in my field of expertise. Marie Mooney, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Bioinformatics at the University of North Florida. She holds a PhD in Cell and Molecular Genetics from the Van Andel Research Institute, a MS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, and a BS in Bioinformatics, from Michigan Technological University. Prior to her current role, she served as a Senior Postdoctoral Associate at Lurie Children's Hospital, A T32 Postdoctoral Scholar In Applied Genomics and Precision Medicine at Duke University, a Research Associate at Michigan State University. Her research focuses on integrative and translational approaches to repurpose therapeutics for use in rare congenital disorders. Her laboratory uses zebrafish as a genetic model organism to generate and test bioinformatics-driven hypotheses.
