About
Leana Zoller is a highly educated and experienced ecologist with a passion for studying the natural world. She received her Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolution from the University of Bern in 2014, where she developed a strong foundation in the principles of ecology and the evolutionary processes that shape life on our planet. Her interest in conservation and animal ecology led her to pursue a Master of Science degree in Animal Ecology and Conservation from the same university, which she completed in 2016. Driven by a desire to deepen her understanding of ecological systems, Leana went on to earn her PhD in Ecology from Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg in 2023. During her doctoral studies, she focused on the effects of climate change on plant communities and the implications for biodiversity. Her research has been published in several prestigious scientific journals and has contributed to a better understanding of the impacts of a changing climate on our planet's ecosystems. After completing her PhD, Leana continued her academic career as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Colorado Boulder. She has also been involved in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, sharing her passion for ecology and inspiring the next generation of scientists. Leana's dedication to her field and her extensive education and experience make her a valuable asset to the scientific community. She is committed to using her knowledge and skills to contribute to the conservation and protection of our planet's biodiversity.
