About
I am an Electrical Engineer by training, with PhD in Diamond Electronics (Devices, Nanofabrication, Charge transport, Valleytronics and Quantum) from Uppsala University, Sweden. Later, continued with Post doctoral research Center for Nanoscale Materials at Argonne National Laboratory, Chicago. Here I gained experience working with growing diamond films using microwave plasma CVD, integration of 2D materials with diamond and few other heterojunction devices. Having moved to industry, at both Euclid Techlabs (for 2 years) and Akhan Semiconductor (during the last 5 years), I have gained experience working with several aspects of semiconductor materials and thin films research ranging from heterojunction diodes, field emission studies, H-terminated FETs, diamond optical wave guides & components for photonics, protective coatings for display glass & several transparent substrates, NV centers for quantum information studies, and a few defense applications, to name a few. Also, prior to my Doctoral studies, I have worked with Swedish Institute for Space Physics, incorporating nanotechnologies for antennas, EM field sensors etc., for space applications onboard satellites.
