Edoardo Airoldi is a Professor in the Department of Machine Learning at Temple University. He is also the Director of the Center for Machine Learning and Health. He is a world-renowned expert in the fields of machine learning and artificial intelligence, with a focus on applications to health. Airoldi is a member of the prestigious Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) and the International Machine Learning Society (IMLS). Jim Samuel is an Associate Professor of Practice and Executive Director of the Informatics Program at the Bloustein School. He is an information and artificial intelligence (AI) scientist, with significant industry experience in finance, technology, entrepreneurship and data analytics. Dr. Samuel’s primary research covers human intelligence and artificial intelligences interaction and information philosophy.  Dr. Samuel’s applied research focuses on the optimal use of big data and smart data driven AI applications, textual analytics, natural language processing and artificially intelligent public opinion informatics. His expertise extends to socioeconomic implications of AI, applied machine learning, social media analytics, AI education and AI bias. Dr. Samuel completed his Ph.D. from the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College – City University of New York, and he also has M.Arch and M.B.A (International Finance) degrees.  Dr. Samuel has worked with large multinational financial services corporations, and advises businesses and organizations on data analytics and AI driven value creation strategies. He is passionate about research driven thought leadership in AI, information philosophy, analytics and informatics. 

David Blanchett, PhD, is Adjunct Professor of Wealth Management at The American College of Financial Services. A world-renowned thought leader in the fields of wealth management and retirement, Blanchett is a leading contributor to the Wealth Management Certified Professional® (WMCP®) designation program. In addition to his role with The College, Blanchett is the managing director and head of retirement research at QMA, a division of Prudential Financial, and formerly at Morningstar Investment Management, LLC. In his roles, Blanchett works to enhance consulting and investment services and conducts research primarily in the areas of financial planning, tax planning, annuities, and retirement. 

Catherine Tucker is a Professor of Economics and Data Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is also a member of the MIT Sloan School of Management's faculty. She is a world-renowned expert in the fields of big data, machine learning, and consumer behavior. She has worked extensively on the use of data science to improve public policy and has been a consultant to government agencies and businesses around the world. In addition to her academic work, she is a popular speaker and has been featured in many media outlets, including The Economist, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Wired.

Dr. Suhang Wang is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Pennsylvania State University. He received his PhD in Computer Science from Arizona State University in 2018, and his Master's degree in Electrical Engineering: Systems from the University of Michigan in 2013. Before joining Penn State, Dr. Wang was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His research interests include natural language processing, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. He was recognized for his work at the International Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining in 2017 and the Fifth ACM International Conference on Web Search and Data Mining in 2016.

Shion Guha is an accomplished scholar and researcher in the field of Information Science and Statistics. He earned his Ph.D. from Cornell University in 2016, after completing his M.S. in Information Science from the same institution in 2014. Prior to that, he obtained an M.S. in Information Science from the Indian Statistical Institute in 2010. Dr. Guha's research focuses on the intersection of information science and statistics, with a particular interest in data mining and machine learning. He has published numerous articles in top journals and presented his work at international conferences. His research has also been funded by prestigious organizations such as the National Science Foundation. In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Guha has also gained valuable teaching experience. He has served as an Assistant Professor at both the University of Toronto and Marquette University, where he taught courses on data mining, information retrieval, and statistical methods. Dr. Guha is highly regarded by his colleagues and students for his expertise, dedication, and passion for his field. He continues to push the boundaries of information science and statistics through his research and teaching, and is a valuable asset to any academic institution.

Dr. Anindya Ghose is the Heinz Riehl Chair Professor of Business at New York University Stern School of Business. His research interests are in the areas of IT-enabled platforms, services and products, including mobile apps, social media, digital marketplaces, and big data analytics. He has also done work on understanding consumer behavior in digital environments. He has published over 130 papers in academic journals and has been honored with several best paper awards. He has also served on the editorial boards of several journals, including Management Science, Information Systems Research, and MIS Quarterly. He is a Fellow of the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).

Dr. Abiodun (Abbey) Alao holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems from the University of Cape Town and is a dedicated researcher and teaching fellow with a strong academic background. Her passion for research is evident, and she currently serves as a research associate at the University of Johannesburg. Throughout her career, Abiodun has actively mentored and supervised projects spanning diverse fields such as Management Information Systems, Information and Communication Technology for Development, Sustainable ICT, Development Communication, Innovative Management, Health Informatics, Information Learning, and Work Integrated Learning (WIL). She has made significant contributions to academia through her publications, which include journals, chapters, and conference papers. Her approach is characterized by a multidisciplinary investigative perspective, with a focus on Information Communication Technology (ICT) as a catalyst for information and knowledge management. Her work addresses various social implications of ICT, and organization development with a particular emphasis on their impact on the well-being of individuals and society as a whole.

Carlos obtained his PhD in Engineering Sciences with concentration in AI/ML from Tec de Monterrey. He worked as a Research Assistant at Harvard. Research Scientist at Amazon, Last Mile Delivery Technology Team, where he developed and applied algorithms to speed up customer delivery times and provide new innovations to customers. Before joining Amazon, Carlos worked for General Motors (GM) as a Senior Researcher at the Manufacturing Systems Research Lab. He conducted research in Industry 4.0 and Quality 4.0; applied and developed algorithms to drive manufacturing innovation. <br> Carlos is the author of the book “Machine Learning in Manufacturing: Quality 4.0 and the Zero Defects Vision”. His research work interest lies within the 99% percentile as compared with the cohort of researchers registered in the ResearchGate platform and it has been recognized as one of the most innovative and high impact research topics by the TecReview magazine. He was ranked in the top 3% in TEXATA, the Big Data Analytics World Championships. Carlos was recognized as the SHPE Star of Today by the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE). This award honors an engineer/scientist who has demonstrated outstanding technical excellence resulting in significant accomplishments. It also recognizes dedication, commitment, and selfless efforts to advance Hispanics in STEM careers. Carlos was in the Mexican national team of martial arts. Vivek Singh is a highly accomplished computer scientist and researcher. He earned his Ph.D. in Information and Computer Science from the University of California Irvine in 2012. During his time at UC Irvine, he focused on research in the areas of natural language processing and machine learning. After completing his Ph.D., Singh joined Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a post-doctoral associate, where he worked on developing algorithms for large-scale data analysis and information retrieval. In 2014, Singh joined Rutgers University as a faculty member in Information Science and Computer Science. As a faculty member at Rutgers, he has published numerous papers in top computer science journals and conferences and has received several grants for his research. Singh's research interests include natural language processing, generative AI, and social computing. He has a particular interest in developing algorithms for analyzing large datasets and extracting valuable insights from them. His work has been applied to various domains, including social media, healthcare, and finance. He has multiple patents, and has experience consulting with early and late-stage (unicorn) startups. His work has led to multiple grants, awards, funding, patents, and deployed products.

Tim Leung is a professor of operations research and financial engineering at the University of Washington. He holds a PhD from Princeton University and a B.S. from Cornell University. He has held previous positions as an assistant professor at Columbia University and Johns Hopkins University.

Dan Baack is an expert in advertising, brand management and international marketing. His academic research focuses on how differences in how consumers process information affect promotional activities. This includes investigations of creativity and advertising effectiveness, of advertising’s impact on brand image and of culture’s influence on marketing activity.

I conduct research on how companies can derive value from different types of information systems through organizational change and adoption of a portfolio of systems. I keep up with new technologies for organizations including generative artificial intelligence, and write about the risks and benefits of various technologies. I use econometric modeling and predictive analytics to analyze data on organizations, processes, projects, and people. I enjoy consulting with companies to share the knowledge that is accumulating in the academic space.
